depression

collaborative book with Jennaway Pearson

we built a dollhouse accordion to open to three stages of depression. both of us were suffering from huge let downs, and decided to put all our energy into the dollhouse.

It helped, we drove all over maryland & virginia to find dollhouse accessories.  we stalked employees at hardware stores to help us figure out how to build this house.  we subscribed to dollhouse catalogues. It was a bonding experience we both needed. it was not the most successful work either of us had accomplished, but it created a friendship only jennaway and i could understand. we learned the complicated ins and outs of collaboration and how to pull together our strengths and weaknesses to produce art.
