Internal volunteer work at Square/Block, Inc. I have been working with internal teams to gain some professional experience which started with the Design Events team. We were planning for an event with a guest speaker within a few weeks time. I had the idea of making a logo for the group to have for more events if this project went well so the vector for the speaker series was born. My first draft is pretty maximalist using Canva and uploading some custom assets like the logo presented ( I really do like Canva's presentation options) its fun and not quite what the team was looking for then they gave me access to some guidelines regarding branding and design for the company slide decks. I really enjoy icons and graphics I think they bring everything together and wanted to show my pairing skills with the options given while still applying my own flare for the theme. This fell short as the design became simple yet to me personally a bit boring eventually we settled on the last slide options they are clean but definitely wish there was an aspect of AI visual for the slide deck. (Information is redacted to focus more on design choice not all icons are created by me only logo presented for the speaker series others are Canva and Original Block assets. This is not for commercial purposes or to make funds this is to showcase my work as a junior creative ONLY.)

Order top to bottom from first design to final decision. It is definitely interesting to see these changes as a new creative it helps me to realize my passions in design. I realized I love maximalist design for my personal style. What do you think of when you think about AI and Design???
