Open Doors Public Art Project for the Rainbow Hospice

The original door was a beige/yellow color. This is my first layer of color I painted on the door.
I proceeded to draw the lettering and designs just for positioning to help me. Which is what you see in the photo below this. Me in the garage with my finished door.
This is a public art project for the Rainbow Hospice & Palliative Care center.
These door are scattered throughout the area and completed by different artists. My door was a yellowish color originally. I show how I began with a blue and red coating and worked from there. Because of the beveled areas on the door I knew I didn't want to go realistic, so I went a bit abstract with words.
