Over the last couple of weeks, we were able to pick a General Conference talk and make a gift booklet for a family member or friend. We had to make sure that we included all these requirements in order to be successful:

-All typography(no images except one)

-Most recent talk from the last General Conference

-Keep in mind your audience

-Incorporate paragraph and character styles

-Page numbers

-Use a minimum of three colors

-Flow overall from page to page

I started the design process by conducting some research about the conference talk I picked and how I can incorporate some symbolic typography throughout my book. The main design aspect I wanted to use goes along the lines of celstial or forever. I created this by making designs that flowed from page to page. For the first couple of weeks I brainstormed and created sketches for what the entire layout of my book and what it might look like. I then collaborated with classmates and revised different aspects of my design for the better. Last step was final touches and the presentation! I created some professional mockups and now I get to present it!

In conclusion, 

This project was a fun way to incorporate typographic principles in a conference talk booklet. It was challenging to create so many possible ideas through the brainstorming process but it helped me come out with a beautiful final product. Thanks to my peers as well, they were a huge help in the revision process!
