Tong Heng, a Singapore home grown heritage Cantonese brand approached us to brand and design their upcoming collaboration with local tea maker, Pek Sin Choon.
Our proposed design for Tong Heng X Pek Sin Choon Tea Blend Label is based around 'The Joy of Eating and Sharing Experiences Together'. It is a visual extension of Tong Heng's established brand universe, with old and new illustrated elements that represent this collaboration between two family-run businesses that are familiar neighbours in Chinatown.

The masthead ‘Good Neighbours Blend’(好夥伴混合茶) is named after the longstanding collaboration between Tong Heng and Pek Sin Choon, who have been close neighbours since the 1980s. The visual design recalls the rich heritage and traditions from the two brands’ journey through the years.
The base colour for the label is drawn from Pek Sin Choon’s traditional pink wrapping paper for packing loose tea leaves. Yellow and red capture the vibrant spirit of Tong Heng, while pockets of green hues represent the natural freshness of the tea itself.
