Description
An extended accordion fold booklet printed on both sides to represent both the physical and the emotional experience of Waterfire in Providence, Rhode Island. Explorations of typographic hierarchy and text and image create visual rhythm using systems and grids. The concept of “reflections of a community” is reinforced through the water image and the typographic structure occurring at the top and bottom of the horizontal axis on both sides of the piece. Special attention to alignment was made in the design to prevent overlapping on either side of the piece which is noticed when seen through while holding it up to the light.
