Character Concept and Collaterals
The aim of this project is to redefine the mythology of the four beasts guardians of the four cardinal directions.
They are (bottom image, from left to right): the Azure Dragon of the East, the Vermilion Bird of the South, the White Tiger of the West, and the Black Tortoise (also called "Black Warrior") of the North. Blessed with supernatural power and immortality, we are invited to see their views and emotions toward the concept of life.

Each characters are designed to replicate modern generation of youths. Although, it is then revealed that their age and immortality have affected their views of life. They have lived through different ages and it is more shown in their backstory, which can also be seen as previewed in their magazine poster covers.
The code above can be scanned through Spotify app to view their respective playlists. They show what the characters are feeling and enhance relatability to the audiences through their taste in genres.
