Marlee is an active-wear brand currently in development thought up by a Colorado-based woman with a hike-loving dog, Marley. The idea was to create athletic apparel that women could wear beyond the hike. We wanted an approachable font with some unique accents (the italicized A is consistent throughout the typography) while keeping it chic, and classic. Marlee was given a color palette that is moody, neutral, and on-trend by using an off-white and black main palette while using jewel tones for accents and product colors. I was inspired by Marley, the dog, to illustrate a dog logo alternative, seen below.
