The basis of the concept is the creation of a continuous pedestrian and cycling path connecting different areas along the Moscow River from Filevsky Park to Taras Shevchenko Embankment. Due to numerous design restrictions, the embankment has a simple layout with a single transit gate along the retaining wall and small attraction points in the widest areas of the embankment, such as an amphitheater, birch grove, and "Wild Garden". The main idea of the embankment is to create a natural oasis and jungle in the city.
Основой концепции является создание продольной беспрерывной велопешеходной связи, соединяющей разные прибрежные участки реки Москвы от Филёвского парка до набережной Тараса Шевченко. Из-за большого количества ограничений на проектирование набережная имеет простую планировку, с единым транзитным створом вдоль подпорной стенки и небольшие точки притяжения в наиболее широкий местах набережной: амфитеатр, березовая роща и “Дикий сад”. Основная идея набережной - это создание природного оазиса и джунглей в городе.
1. AMPHITHEATER. At this section opposite the "Peter Fomenko Workshop" theater, the embankment will be expanded to accommodate an amphitheater for 200 people and a small island at the lower level of the retaining wall with water plants placed in free groups alongside large stones. From here, visitors can enjoy a beautiful view of the "City" skyscrapers on the opposite bank and attend concerts, performances, and photo shoots.
1. АМФИТЕАТР. На данном участке напротив театра «Мастерская Петра Фоменко» планируется расширение набережной и организация амфитеатра на 200 человек, а также создание небольшого островка у нижнего уровня подпорной стенки с использованием водных растений, которые размещаются свободными группами в дополнении к крупным камням. Отсюда можно будет любоваться красивым видом на небоскребы «Сити» на другом берегу, а также проводить концерты, спектакли и фотосессии.
2. BIRCH GROVE. A birch grove will be planted to create a green barrier between the sewage treatment plant and the recreation area. The birch grove will be an expressive element of the embankment, featuring multi-stemmed birches and low ground-covering shrubs. Children's elements such as wooden sculptures and swings will be placed among the birch groups.
2. БЕРЕЗОВАЯ РОЩА. На территории планируется посадка березовой рощи, чтобы создать зеленый барьер между очистным сооружением и зоной отдыха. Бёрезовая роща будет являться выразительным элементом набережной. В создании рощи принимают участие многоствольные берёзы, а также низкие и почвопокровные кустарники. Среди березовых групп планируется разместить детские элементы (деревянные скульптуры/качели).
3. "WILD GARDEN". The widest section of the embankment will feature a garden with a wild atmosphere created by using structural plants with wide large leaves, deciduous tall shrubs, trees, and stone compositions. The garden layout will consist of winding paths with widened areas for resting and open clearings. Greenery and walking routes will be complemented by small architectural forms such as loungers, benches, chairs, urns, and sculptures.
3. “ДИКИЙ САД”. На самом широкой участке набережной планируется разместить сад с дикой атмосферой пространства, за счет применения структурных растений с широкими большими листьями, лиственных высоких кустарников, деревьев и композиций из камней. Планировка сада - извилистые дорожки с расширением для мест отдыха и открытых полян. Озеленение и прогулочные маршруты будут дополняться малыми архитектурными формами (лежаки, скамейки, стульчики, урны, скульптуры).
The main theme of landscaping is the integration of wild nature into the already established rigid structure of the city, with bridges, viaducts, roads, technical structures, and other elements of urban infrastructure. The embankment uses a large variety of plants with a natural physiognomy, creating a jungle effect in the midst of the metropolis.
Основная тема озеленения - интеграция дикой природы в уже сложившуюся жёсткую структуру города: с мостами, эстакадами, автодорогами, техническими сооружениями и другими элементами городской инфраструктуры. На набережной применяется большое количество видов растений природного физиономического облика, создающих эффект джунглей посреди мегаполиса.
Trees, shrubs, perennials, bulbs, and vines that are resistant to urban conditions are used in landscaping. All elements of landscaping play an important role in shaping the volumetric-spatial structure of the object. A special place in landscaping is taken by coastal and aquatic plants.
В озеленении применяются деревья, кустарники, многолетники, луковичные и лианы устойчивые в городских условиях. Все элементы озеленения выполняют важную роль в формировании объёмно-пространственной структуры объекта. Особое место в озеленении принимают участие прибрежно-водные растения.
