This entire product- and packaging design is based on the simple fact that an upside down and prepacked waffle cone ice cream has astonishing similarities with a Wigwam or Teepee used by Native Indians in North America.

With this in the back of my mind, patterns and colors are easy to pick, in order to generate a fresh looking design. Even the creation of different flavors is an easy task because they are logically based on North American fruits.
And the naming? Indian Summer Ice Cream (the spirit of ice cream) appears to be most suitable. Here, however, I chose to use a more commercial-looking typeface in the design to create a more contemporary look.

The shapes, colours and the whole theme make a great "toolkit" for marketing and advertising to promote this product. It’s a solid base, and possibilities are endlessly.

Epilogue: Simplicity always works. A small conceptual hook can be the base of great looking products and brands. Ideas which in the beginning appear completely bonkers, can be great in the end.

Enjoy!
