The problem faced by old age people who live alone for some reason People can become socially isolated for a variety of reasons, such as getting older or weaker, no longer being the centre of their family, leaving their job, having a spouse or friend die, or being disabled or ill. Older people are particularly vulnerable to loneliness and social isolation, which can have serious health implications. But there are ways to overcome loneliness, even if you live alone and find it hard to get out of the house.
