World Trade Center is a 2006 drama film directed by Oliver Stone and based on the September 11 attacks at the World Trade Center. It stars Nicolas Cage, Michael Peña,  Maria Bello, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Stephen Dorff and Michael Shannon. World Trade Center is one of two films released in 2006 based on the 9/11 disaster, the other being United 93.
