Recently I’m lucky to work on video invitation to a party dedicated to fifth anniversary of Bar 812 located in St. Petersburg. The most interesting thing was that by the time I had recieved the order – they shot all the videos, and the only thing I had to do – is to write the music. But thinking for a while the client decided to make music of the sounds of cocktail’s preparation and that meant that it would be much harder not only because of the lack of time, but mostly because I had to produce music of sounds that they had already shot at the video. I started to learn the video and listed the sounds I needed to make the best cocktail music ever!
It took me about 2.5 hours to record. The base for my drum section was the table hit as the kick and the spray can explosion for the snare. The fridge hum works as bass line very well - I pitched it to have different notes.
After 24 hours I had the music track. And the result is here. Cheers!
