ANNA NASRALLAH's profile

From Rural to Urban

FROM RURAL TO URBAN
The area is characterized by two aspects, rural and urban. The project, which is a residential building, gives back to these different characters by the horizontal part that represents the rural side of the city, and the vertical one that represents its urban side.
A vine hanging on the road facade, shelters the circulation. It isolates the project from the noise of the road and creates a flying carpet of greenery that begins with the already present green area near the side and ends on the road facade.
The inhabitants of this project, can meet on the commun terrace which represents the union of the two blocks with different characters and looks out onto the green area.
The project encompasses the traditional Lebanese house with a central hall, a construction that wrote the history of Lebanon and sheltered our ancestors for several generations
