To remember sand buried villages
After one year of working I made ten handmade wooden weather vanes to remember sand dunes buried old villages in Curonian Spit, Lithuania. In XVI century 14 villages were buried under sand. Residents of villages were forced to move a few times from one place to another due to the drifting sand. The yellow brown color represents sand and the white flag means emptiness.
