Poke's first iphone app, gave wannabe pub comedians , the opportunity to deliver jokes like a pro, anytime, anyplace via their trusty iphones.
With over a hundred jokes to choose from, delivered by twenty hand picked comedians, users could download fresh joke packs every friday over a two month period.
The free app also acted as a live promo tool, as we created several live spots within the app for Cobra to add dynamic content and links on the fly.
To support the app we created the ubiquitous YouTube channel as well a creating a hidden channel to host the jokes that never made it past the censors.
Despite minimal promotion we got over 17,000 downloads in the 2 month duration of the campaign.
