The Khanenko Museum | museum

The Khanenko Museum - is the key world art museum in Ukraine. A visual concept of website was developed.

The museum presents the most significant Ukrainian collections of Western European, Asian and ancient art. The core of the museum holdings is made up by the private collection of Bohdan and Varvara Khanenko, who were distinguished Ukrainian collectors of art and philanthropists of the late 19th – the early 20th centuries.

The main color in the project is beige. It neutral and tranquil, and associated with natural and organic elements, evoking a sense of warmth and comfort.

In this design, beige color adds a touch of elegance and classic allure to the website, much like paintings in a museum gallery. It helps create the feeling that visitors are immersed in a virtual work of art, where every detail and corner possesses its own unique charm.

The museum's website becomes a place where aesthetics and functionality intertwine into a seamless masterpiece.

The main idea of visual concept is to showcase the museum's valuable treasures and spark interest in people to visit the museum.

On the website, employed a vibrant color palette to create an atmosphere of warmth and fascination. This atmosphere helps visitors feel like they have become a part of the grand world of art, where each section and exhibit has its own unique history and significance.

The primary goal is to enchant viewers, demonstrate the diversity of the museum's cultural heritage, and engage them in exploring this unique world.

The psychology behind creating this design is based on the desire to establish a favorable psychological atmosphere for consumers to interact with museum content and the website. The use of beige color and an elegant visual concept aims to:

Create Emotional Comfort: beige color is associated with calmness and naturalness, helping visitors feel comfortable and at ease on the website.
Capture Attention: through visual appeal and individuality, the design captivates viewers and instills a desire to learn more about the museum and its collections.
Foster Interest: the main idea is to encourage visitors to further explore the museum's artistic heritage, enhancing their positive emotions and curiosity.
