I carried on after a mental break down in the Spring of 2020 at the beginning of the Covid epidemic. Still living with all the anxiety, I had last fall. The uncertainty of the future nipping at my heels pushing me to become better at my craft. Go from imposter to Professional Photographer.

You know sometimes it’s not just about practicing and being better. There’s a whole lot of serendipity that plays a role. After a quick trip to check if the burned out area of the Bush Fire had been opened up yet. I turned a bend with a slight elevation change on the 202 to see the western sky appeared to be on fire.

I pulled off the 202 Red Mountain and found a nice place right off the freeway ramp to park that had a view of the horizon and these colors. A once in a lifetime view of the setting sun illuminating the sky like flames in a fire.
