I worked for Facts on File, Inc. as a Graphics Illustrator for five years creating maps,
charts, and graphs for books and an online database using mostly Adobe Illustrator and
Adobe Photoshop. I created graphics from author’s notes and sketches for academic
books using various reference materials. I created the style and decided the color schemes
for maps, charts, and diagrams used in the online database. I also did a great deal of
production work updating maps with new colors, styles, and content in the latest program
versions, making them both print and web ready. In addition, I made detailed style and
proofreading sheets for authors and editors.
