The men of  Ironworkers Union #401
Walking Steel initially began as a project to document the men of Local 401 of the Ironworkers as they built Comcast Center, a 973 ft tall glass and steel building that houses the corporate headquarters for the cable company.  However, due to the vision of the unions leadership and their trust to assemble a creative  team, the project became the basis for a full color  B4 informational brochure about the local its members and its training programs. The union distributed the brochure to architectural firms and developers across the country.
