If i'm being honest, 2023 has been rough for me creatively.
I've struggled with art over the last several months. Ideas don't materialize like they used to, and it culminated in me taking an extended break over June/July to hopefully refresh my drive.
The one thing that I have managed to bring together was this foray in the "Metalheart" style. This is a style that I attempted to push way back in 2014/15 when I was brand new, and again last year with my CATACLYSMS project, but i felt like it was time to make an attempt with my current iridescent style.
The new generation of artists in this style like the desktopGeneration collective, Andrew Bennett, aetherphase, jackflash776 and choco were a wealth of inspiration for this project, so please check out their work.
