The idea for this poster came up in our Design for Social Change class where we were asked to identify a social problem in our country and to come up with a solution as to how we could rectify that problem. I chose the topic “Overpopulation in Pakistan” and the first step to the solution was to spread awareness through this poster.

As shown in the illustration, people in rural areas lack the understanding of this issue and I’ve tried to shed light on that fact in this poster by showing people falling off the buildings due to overpopulation and not being able to find the means of living.
