Hidilyn Diaz is a Filipino weightlifter and airwoman. She won her first silver medal in her 3rd consecutive Olympics weightlifting competition in the 2016 Rio Olympics.
Diaz plans to be back stronger for the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo. However, the COVID-19 pandemic hindered the event. The pandemic also took a toll on her training and mental health. With the help of the coaches, they created a program that would help her and prepare her whenever the event comes back.
After a year of lockdown, Tokyo Olympics finally came, more than ready than ever.
She and her team wanted to have a symbol that would represent their comeback campaign. We created “HD” to represent Hidilyn Diaz and “Team HD” to represent the coaches and people who supported her.
In her come back campaign, Hidilyn Diaz won the first ever Gold medal of the country.
