In August 2022, I was asked by our Content department to create illustrations supplementing a segment of our show, Home is Here, focused on Hawaiian featherwork. The illustrations were meant to show the work of a kia manu with voiceover. 

I began researching and storyboarding once I received the script. I hadn't been familiar with kia manu prior to this project, so it was a real treat to deep dive into the resources I could find, and try to figure out how I could best to depict Marques Marzan's narration.

I created our storyboards and sketches in ProCreate, built the scenes in Illustrator, and then added some parallax animation in After Effects.
