Xavierville Avenue — A Photo Essay
The street I grew up in now unrecognizable—yet completely the same. These images tell a story of reclamation, of a push and pull common to today. As we continue to take more of the earth, so too do we fill it with our essence, even the parts we wish to throw away. But the earth is still the earth, and do with it as we may, its parts are not so easily changed—even as we move to replace them with our own.
