In August of 2021, I was asked to update PBS Hawaiʻi's Keiki Club logo. This is a group parents can donate to and involve their kids in to access special station events, receive perks, and see on-air shoutouts for their children's birthdays.

PBS Kids has a very graphic, whimsical and distinct style. In my initial passes, I wanted to emulate that style with some localization. 

This wasn't quite what the stakeholders were looking for. In my next pass, I moved away from the boxy shapes and sharp edges. 

We decided to go very simple, crayon letters only. Final logo and context below.
