Roadside Mozambique

Roadside Mozambique
For Mozambique's rural communities, the few roads that cross the country are basically their main survival asset. It is through them that they move to nearby villages to sell their produce and buy what they need, it is how they go to church or the mosque weekly to attend services. Through the roads, he commutes daily to work and the children to school. When we drive on the roads of Mozambique, we just need to be attentive and willing to pull over to get good photos that portray the way of life of these people. The challenge is that people who come into these communities are not used to street photographers. They feel uncomfortable and suspicious of a foreigner pointing a camera at them. It takes a lot of common sense and creativity to tell a little of these people's stories without offending them
Thank you.
