Color Poster

This poster is for Art History 370: Art and Social Protest. The message behind it represent the Autistic community protesting an organization named Autism Speaks. Autism Speaks had numerous controversies of depicting Autism as a disease. For example, in 2009, they released an ad called, "I am Autism" where they used a devilish voice as a way of depicting as a monster taking over people's lives. Autism doesn't need a cure. Autistic people need to be accepted in our society where they shouldn't be judged of who they are.
