ANTSPRINGA
My first solo show was a compilation of the pieces created from 2019-2021. A period of my life when I moved around to explore myself in different scenarios and possibilities. Thus the name Antspringa , a combination of ant and rumspringa.
Rumspringa " running around ", is an Amish practice were young adults are allowed greater freedom to explore life. This idea mirrored what I had been offering myself those three years , and connected the drawings I had been creating.
