Almost a year back, I had the opportunity to work on an amazing series of 29 short videos, for UE Academy, to introduce people to the 29 languages of UE. In each video, an historical local character acts as a playwright and presents the traditions and expressions that shaped his native language. Here is a selection from thousands of illustrations I made for this mixed media project.
In the following storyboard, writer Krste Petkov Misirkov gives a brief introduction to the authors, the wedding festival and ajvar, the caviar of the Balkans, that are part of Macedonian language and culture.
