During an election period, we are overwhelmed by dozens of candidates. They all have the same vage slogans while just a few of them stick.

I believe in the power of a logo, a visual identity that translates his/her personality. 

 

As a freshman, my candidate needs a competent introduction. One that attracts voters and whom they can identify with. His alternative approach, something he gathered during his many years upon the scouts, tackles conservative thinkers. He is committed and wants to put his stamp on certain topics.

But in the end, it all comes down to collecting as many votes as possible.

 

So I started with the idea of using his name in combination with STEM (for non-dutch speakers, STEM means VOTE). STEM STAS is an alliteration, and appaers to be one. A short catchphrase that triggers voters to act.

No vage tagline, just to the point!

Our politician runs for the social party, obviously the logo has the colour red. However the logo misses character, his personality. So I split the two four letter words in an angle, it signifies his alternative way of thinking. To finish off the creation, I provided him a stamp so he can mark everything he touches.
