3D Object Design - COP28 in the style of Arts and Crafts movement
The purpose of the mask was to reflect the main ideas written in my essay around the Arts and Crafts movement with a focus on William Morris as an artist. In addition, the mask had to address a message related to COP28 and environmental change, mine was plastic pollution and it acting as a threat to marine creatures.
Below behind the scenes and process of the mask making
A photoshoot reflecting the concept of the mask. The mask idea is an octopus (hence, the tentacles) reaching out from the sea in between the plastic waste clinging for it's life. The photoshoot playfully shows this scenario, while blaming the viewer for the plastic waste and addressing the message written on the mask.
A Petcha Kutcha presentation explaining the project and the mask design.
Thanks, see you next time :)
