Architecture | Unlocking the heritage of Singapore
Editorial Design
The brief was to do a publication about the monuments around Singapore. I decided to create a guide book in which would get people to be interested and to have a better understanding of the monuments in Singapore.
Architecture, as the main theme in introducing the monuments, I beieve would be good as it brings another interesting point of view, rather than just norm of introducing the events that took place at that particular monument. The book acts as a guide book where the user can bring it around while they are on the trail visiting monuments that are walkable distance from each other.
As this was a guide book, I decided to have consistent layouts in terms of the features each chapters have, to communicate a clear direction. A book that is simple and user-friendly. Also each chapter are colour-coded for easy reference.
The identity, graphics and photographs are all self-generated.
