Our eldest patient visit. 90 Years old. A routine checkup by the social workers and the
University's final year medical students
Briefing and team discussion with the social workers and their district nurse for removal of a patient with TB (tuberculosis) and Aids. He had till this day refused to take medical care and visit the local hospital. Bed ridden for several months. On the day of our visit an ambulance was dispatched and he was taken to the local hospital.
Joanna.  Our first patient visit for the day. Joanna suffers from arthritis and completes her daily exercise routines which she showed off to us during the visit.  She finds her situation more difficult with the cold but is helped by her son
during most of the week
A morning visit to one of the regular patients.  Struggle with transportation and financing mean only about 10% of patients that should be seen can be visited on foot patrol each day.
