What a vivid wedding!!! What a brutal party!!!

Africa, motherland, with its naturalness and life, put its spirit in this marriage.

I have a huge passion for Africa, I usually say that I have an “African rib”

Carla (the bride) is African, Bruno (the groom) is German, together they make a beautiful mix.

I had the great pleasure of meeting them a few months before the wedding, it was one of those weddings that took less time.

And I'm glad it was like that, if it were otherwise, it wouldn't be the same thing.

They have a way of being that goes a lot against what I like and what I am, we easily connect.

They are a couple with a very good “vibe”, a lot of positive energy and full of life!

The wedding meeting was one of those that looked like long time friends having a conversation, more than 2 hours of conversation.

As time went by, they were one of those couples that I talked about a few times, even if they were trivia.

After the wedding, we started talking more about the wedding itself and arranging things.

And that's when I got to know a little more about their history.

They have known each other for over 11 years, since their school days.

Bruno was a rebel, Carla was the nerd, she just studied.

But their scene was nothing more than that, just getting to know each other and sharing the same school.

5 years later, using Instagram, Bruno started to make conversation... but Carla was mean, it made it difficult.

But, after some time, she gave in and they scheduled a coffee, which Carla thought would be quick.

She didn't have anything fast, they stayed in the conversation for more than 3 hours!

The first kiss was Carla's initiative, it was Bruno's turn to make himself difficult 🙂

She went to see a “romantic” movie, The Wolf of Wall Street.

This was followed by the request for a date, which Bruno made… and which Carla refused!

The will remained, Carla's sisters still put pressure on him, he insisted.

“Yes”, I said to Carla in this second request.

The marriage proposal was the next step, on a boat trip in the Douro.

And that put them on my path, in the story I now tell.

Even before the wedding day, we had the engagement photoshoot, with horses (here Bruno influenced it), really great!

A week after that, we were on the big day, the wedding day!

We started at Bruno, great atmosphere, good mood and lots of fun.

As for Carla, the animation was even more, I don't know if I've already mentioned, Africa is like that 🙂

Lots of excitement, lots of family and friends, and all of this without missing love and emotion.

What a good way to start the day.

But, of course, this whole way of being, a lot of life, leads to a lot of emotion.

The ceremony was just like that, super emotional, a lot of crying, a lot of laughter, a lot of Love.

Beautiful!!!

The rest of the day was a wild party, lots of music, lots of dancing, lots of madness!

What a great wedding! What a great day!

For you, Carla and Bruno, continue to be as you are and keep that spirit, you will be well marked in my memory.

See you soon...

“Enjoy the journey”
