VIPER'S INHERITANCE
"Viper's Inheritance" is a personal project, with the aim of developing a Lore Scene of the character "Viper" from the game Valorant. Previously thought of as a scene that was neither the beginning nor the end of a story, but an independent and separate section, which we could, if necessary, make other scenes, using only references from this episode.
THE STORY, IN A BRIEF, BEHIND THE VIDEO:

Sabine Callas was the daughter of one of the most famous scientists in the world, who was on the verge of making a great discovery when studying the venom of snakes of the "viper" species, but was brutally killed after refusing to support an evil experiment by one of the largest companies in country's energy and technology. Having witnessed the entire tragedy of her father's murder as a child, Sabine resumed her father's research and, years later, discovered a way to cultivate an extremely dangerous mutated poison, chemically uniting elements of radianite and snake venom. After perfecting the use of the material resulting from this discovery, she saw a great opportunity to use them to avenge her father, support the harmed and direct research to become more benign to society. This then being the Viper's Inheritance.

Main Reference
The fish-eye Contra-Plungée scene is definitely the most important and the one that we paid the most attention to in the entire video. It was heavily inspired by one of the scenes from the short film "The Witness" by Alberto Mielgo, who is a unique director in terms of style.
The two scenes put aside is almost a crime, but we put it so you can see the similarities.
Plant Tank

The plant's tank was modeled using hardsurface modeling techniques, using concept arts found on Pinterest as a reference.
Textures Quality Improvement
To improve the textures of the game we upscaled them, added some details that we didn't have, like highlights in the eyes, details in the mask's eyes, and also some roughness maps to give more realism to the scene.
Rig and Animation
Gutemberg did an awesome character rig, greatly facilitating the animation production. Without rigging, animating each part of the character with just the default bones, which come from the game files, would be practically impossible.
Real-Time Renderer
Each frame of this video took about 10 seconds to render, which is amazing!
That's because we proudly made this entire video using the underrated Blender Eevee Internal Renderer
