Project 4 Gift Booklet

"Overcome the World and Find Rest"

For this project, I designed a booklet for a talk given in the October 2022 General Conference of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I chose one of the talks given by our prophet, President Russell M. Nelson. I designed the booklet as a gift for my children.

For the assignment, I was to focus on how typography hierarchy works over a series of spreads to engage and invite a reader to invest time in the content. The booklet had to be all typographic except one photo of the speaker. I had to use at least three colors, a grid, paragraph styles, and character styles. I had to select fonts from a limited selection, and include page numbers.

*In print, the colors are not so saturated, and it is not hard to read.
