In 2022, we made a short film that aimed to push the boundaries of the Real-Time engine and our production pipeline using ICVFX workflow. The project challenged us to explore the limitations and advancements of the technology in a creative and extensive manner. Through the process of crafting the film,we gained a deeper understanding of the tools and techniques available in Virtual Preoduction as well as their potential for innovation in the industry.

Challenge was to create a short film using minimum resources and time while also utilizing the tech of ICVFX and unreal engine, with one character and 2 sets and 6 hours with a minimum crew on set

Using Unreal Engine not limited to environment creation but also to utilize Real-time power for the potentioal use of previz of the whole film before moving into the produciton.

Pre-Visualization

Re purposing environments and assets available by epic games kit bashing and even creating few assets from the scratch was utilized to create and optimize environments.

A really subtle color pallete Inspired from major films like Joker, Last night in Soho and others was decided to bring out the

suspense and emotions that film is trying to convey. Especially for the present sequence of the films the "Green room" while a warm and cozy pallete was set for the warmth and memory feel for the "Gold room".
