The collection "Taste of Summer" was inspired by a memory of summer picnics when you can enjoy outdoor meals (including favourite fruits) until the sun goes down. I illustrated this pattern during cold dark winter days in Warsaw, and lemons - always present in my home - made me think about ice cream, lemonades and warmth. The harvesting season for lemons Europe is actually winter - I love how these little, zesty suns combine different seasons.

This textile design was created for Makaszka - a mum&baby polish brand. Hand drawn, hand painted motifs in watercolour, featuring lemons, cherries and peaches are composed into a rich pattern, available on bedding sets, sleeping bags, woman kimonos, bags & more.
