Twist Bangel is a bracelet designed to cost very little to produce but have a high return. The exercise is in design. By taking a cheap product and branding in such a way that is usually reserved for much more expensive objects, it seems much more luxurious than it is in actuality. In total the overall cost for the prototype was eight dollars and it could retail for much more in the right setting. The word bangle is purposely misspelled to make the name more interesting and to create an identity for the product. The design is more utilitarian but it not limited to any gender or subculture. In addition to being a neutral design all the materials are sustainable. The metal is recyclable, the bamboo is eco friendly and biodegradable as is the paper and floss.
