Luisa and Luis, our dancing bride and groom.

Yes, dance is part of their history, both past and present.

And, of course, that was the theme chosen for the wedding.

In the engagement photoshoot it was already possible to see that yes, the dance was with them.

The wedding confirmed that, but there we go, first the story of how they got here.

After the introduction above, it's easy to see where it all started, in dance.

They met in 2011, in jazz classes at Estudio de Dança Margarida Vale.

But no, that wasn't the first kiss, even though it was shortly after they met.

The first kiss was at FEUP, taking advantage of a lunch break.

Officially, they started dating after a movie session in March of the same year.

It wasn't just “Do you want to date me”, Luís even offered a rose to mark the moment.

The marriage proposal was 10 years later, in Lamego, on Luís' 30th birthday.

After a dance performance, Luís called all his friends to take a picture.

Of course that was an excuse to propose.

Luís fled with shame, but quickly returned to savor the moment.

And that brings us to the day of this story, a wedding at the Monastery of Moreira da Maia and the party at Quinta Geraldino.

A day of joy, family, friends and, of course, dancing,

Dances by Luísa's girls, family dances, bride and groom dance.

A wedding just like them, thought and made for that very reason, for them, but without forgetting everyone else.

That they never let this bond die, and that they keep the dance between them, it's good and will always be part of history.

See you soon...
