Rosan Chow of Design Research Lab asked me to create a sort of booklet and a poster to advertise and explain her design method RIP+MIX, also called Case Transfer. The method is used in projects that have open-ended goals or poorly-defined problems. By using a process of a sort of thought remixing, existing concepts are separated from their original context and adapted through trial and error in different ways to the problem at large. It’s an exciting process! We decided on a fold method that allows a poster on the inside and the outside can be folded together to form a booklet.
