NEON FLOWERS
UVIIRF photography
UVIIRF means UltraViolet Induced InfraRed Florescence. In other words: UV fluorescence captured in the infrared spectrum.
UV fluorescence is the capacity of elements to emit spontaneously light under UV radiation excitation. This technique allows to discover new patterns and identify specific chemical components, for example.
Plants are a fantastic subject for UVIIRF, as they are very sensible to UV light. In this experimental series, I have chosen a short selection of different flowers and plants to reveal under UV light with an infrared-converted camera.
