- WHY -

For this project I was prompted to create a kit for social activism. I got the idea when I was driving home from the airport after a camping trip in Arizona. The thing I remember most (besides the big rocks) were the clear sky and stars that were so bright. I did not see that driving home in Bowling Green. Driving down the streets there were lights everywhere, blinding almost. I missed the crisp sky and faint colors I saw in the desert. This idea sparked the need for light pollution awareness.
