Features & Techniques

One colleague & I, embarked on a football club project. The project was designed with the use of 3D objects for various simulation analyses which included sustainability features in order to complete the full works.

The slide below displays the project structural design. On this project, the slopping roof design was very interesting especially where the green roof met the terrain which merged the building parts with nature.

Below this text displays the updated model of the building with information being used for visual and technical analyses. All areas of the layout were considered, including under the sloping roof which was fully utilized.

A 3D static model was created in detail, with various parts. The model along with the static analyses was used to aid the design for this project. Additionally the site layout with planning documentation guided the project since certain areas had to be casted on site due to cost implications & complexity.

The next slides shows details taken from the digital model using various layers for fast production of drawings. This project was demanding since the quality was of high importance along with fulfilling the demands for such a project.

The final slide below shows an overview of the project and its environment. It was amazing to blend the building and its surroundings together with highlights of lighting features that complement the project. Challenges were the green roof, the abnormal design and its drainage. These problems were solved with heavy analyses and detailing.
