Who would have thought that, 5 years after César's wedding (brother, we would be photographing João? 🙂

Marta and João chose a beautiful day in July to get married.

I already knew them from Susana and César's wedding, this time they changed sides and they became the bride and groom.

Susana and César became friends, it's been 5 years, Marta and João joined the group 🙂

An exceptional couple, always with a smile on their face, super friendly, uncomplicated and “go with the flow”

Their history comes from childhood, even if they are little or nothing connected, but it has been there since that time.

They started to go out more seriously only in 2021, on a trail in Serra de Canelas, in the company of Susana and César.

From then on, they started to go out more and more seriously, trails, walks, cafes, everything served as an excuse for moments together.

They had decided to go eat a crepe by the beach and, even though it rained all day, they didn't give up on the idea and the sun came out.

Even so, it was cold, João took the opportunity to “squeeze” the mink to warm her up and that was how the first kiss appeared.

That first kiss served as a motto for the beginning of the relationship, it wasn't even worth waiting any longer.

In October, on yet another rainy day, which didn't bother him at all, they would go to his parents' house for lunch, but he diverted the route.

Even with Marta suspicious about why the path was not the usual one, João went there trying to apologize.

Arriving at Praia das Pedras Amarelas, where the first kiss was, they parked the car and the dialogue went something like this:
“- Come with me, I want to show you something.
The sky was gray silent rain color, but the rain slowed down. Off we went to the place where we started dating, Marta and I in a suit covered with a dark raincoat.
Shall we go to the sand? Marta of course, with the flea behind her ear. They took off their shoes and dipped their feet in the sand.
“Walk with me to dip your feet in the water” says João.
And off she went, following his idiotic ideas.
João says: “You know that I love you very much, don’t you?”
“Yes,” said Marta.
"And you know that I want to marry you, don't you?"
“Yes”, he said to Marta again in that shy way of his but almost bursting with joy.
And as he knelt down, he took a small box out of his blazer pocket and opened it for her to see what it was:
“And you, will you marry me?”
"Yes"

Beautiful, unique and priceless moments, these are for life!

And they still had the right to applause from the people who were there 🙂

And all of that made us be on the day of this story.

They chose Quinta da Felicidade, owned by our friend Filipe, for the ceremony and party, a good choice.

A day of religion, family, friends.

A day very much like them, and with Sun, unlike all the other important dates 🙂

Another good day that I had the pleasure of spending with them was the day of the singles session, beautiful!

A couple that, with all certainty, will remain friends for life and that I will see a few times.
