A few month ago I worked in cooperation with cool Kizney.visuals team where we created some CG with an action mostly happening in the desert. Since the project is under NDA I can't share it in portfolio, but I relly felt I want to play with this topic. So the only goal for this one was to play with some deserty sandy CG
Software: GAEA, Cinema4D (Redshift, XParticles), AfterEffects
Yes, there was no need to use GAEA to create dunes, C4D is absollutely enough for this. The only purpose to have it in this pipeline is because I really like playing with this tool.
