L' Aquila is an historic town in Abruzzo, Italy. On the 6 April 2009 has been hit by an earthquake rated 5.9 on the Richter scale.
I took the following pictures walking around for 3 hours, wandering about aimlessly, here and there across the border of a Red Zone, which is accessible for the inhabitants only with an official permission.
