The Scene - Logo ideation

I was appraoched with a very interesting logo project for an event and talent management company called The Scene.
The Scene strived to be recognized by both western and middle eastern demographics alike. And so a challenge was set to build that bridge in one logo.

After some research and study into how I could do this, it suddenly dawned on me that the word scene is pronounced the same as the arabic letter س. And so the question became clear, how do I incorporate that?
It was the perfect link between both worlds, but it still needed an aesthetic frame to really shine. Let me first share some preliminary ideas.
The letter س here is composed of the C and E in the word Scene. Highlighted by the colors in a bold and modern format.
In this option, the custom logomark's aim was to convey the middle eastern heritage that The Scene wishes to honor, while also drawing attention. It is the letter س, but also containing the latin letters S, C, E and N.

This one was a bit of a reach but a very interesting idea to explore nonetheless.
Now finally we reach the Logo of choice.
It has everything I had been looking for and trying to achieve.
In a very modern, sleek and eye-catching fashion, it creates that link between both worlds, western and middle eastern. It fuses them together, making them inseperable.
It works well, it does its job, and it highlights what the scene is about.
While also having a logomark that can stand on its own, carry its own identity, and be widely recognizable.
I would incorporate more of the branding but I want this project to have its focus directed towards ideation.
This was a fantastic challenge to handle, and sharing some of that process is always a great feeling.
Thank you for reading, and have a good day!
