What a brutal couple! One of the purest people, in a good mood and at ease with life I've ever known!
But let's tell the story of how we got to the day of this story, the wedding day.
2010 Carnival party, at school, Catarina went to see Daniel and they exchanged contacts.
(no wonder for those who know them)
But this first step concerns both…
The first kiss!
A little over a week later, at the end of a break they started talking…
…Daniel approached and … we have the first kiss!
The beginning of the courtship, it was understood, was from that moment.
A beautiful relationship, very experienced and very well on the way to a future for two.
Of course, the rule dictates, the next step would be the marriage proposal.
And there came the request, almost 10 years after they started dating.
It was at the former Hotel Douro 41, today Octant Douro Hotels. , the same one we used to make Love the dress, a few months after the wedding.
Back to the marriage proposal, we are just two days after S. João for something big.
Daniel had prepared a setting with candles, torches and flowers and he sent Catarina there.
He asked her to enjoy the view from the river side, but prepared for the request.
She turned around and there he was, kneeling on the floor, box with the ring and the long-awaited “Will you marry me?”
Request accepted, he was left to enjoy the landscape, the hotel and, of course, contribute to the piggy bank 😀
What is the piggy bank? Only the couples I photograph know 😀 😀 😀
And this whole story takes us from the wedding day, of course, not before doing the singles session.
The wedding day was exactly what I expected, pure, loose, free and surrounded by the best.
Church of Antas, celebrated by the excellent Father Antonino on a beautiful day in June.
The venue for the party was Quinta da Azenha de Baixo, with the grandiose Lázaro, a good choice.
A lot of partying, a lot of friendship, a lot of complicity, nothing that wasn't expected with these two boys.
And what a great couple I gained as Friends for life, it was a real pleasure to have their wedding.
Of course, our friendship doesn't end here, we still have a lot of things on the way...
